EUROPEAN TABLE OLIVES: OLIVE YOU

The proposal is in regards to Regulation (EU) No 1144/2014 and Topic 9 of the Annual Work Programme for 2016.PEMETE (Panhellenic Association of Table Olive Processors, Packers and Exporters) submitted a proposal under the acronym “Olive You” to promote European Table Olive to Russia, Norway and Australia.The programme includes informative and promotional measures. The two objectives are to enhance awareness by 10% and increase exports by 25%. For a total amount of €2,119,456, this Action proposes a variety of communication tools, strong web presence and face-to-face activities, such as promotion in selling points, gourmet food trucks and master classes at culinary schools.At the same time, and in order to gain market share, the campaign includes B2B activities like participation at the major food exhibitions in the three targeted countries Australia, Norway and Russia. Target groups include consumers, opinion leaders and distributors of the food sector.
