The proposed action is submitted by the Agricultural Cooperative of Krokees, which is a recognized producer union, located in Lakonia, entitled Information provision and promotion programme on EU PDO extra virgin olive oil in United States and Canada. The Action is set to launch in January 2026 and will run for three years until December of 2028. It seeks to increase knowledge and awareness and to improve the value and the appreciation of PDO EU agricultural products among the target groups of distributors/ traders, representatives of retail chains, consumers, opinion leaders, media in USA and Canada. Achieving this objective will consequently contribute to increase the recognition and the perceived value of Greek PDO extra virgin olive oil, in global scale, especially in United States and Canada. The activities include the production of informative printed and electronic material, advertorial placements, participation in international exhibitions, press events and tasting days.
