Quality, Authenticity and Heritage of Protected Designations of Origin

 “Quality, Authenticity and Heritage of Protected Designations of Origin” is a three-year information action designed to improve awareness and recognition of the PDO EU quality label in Denmark, France, Germany and Portugal.

Proposed by the Comissão de Viticultura da Região dos Vinhos Verdes, from Portugal, and the Consorzio Associazione Vini Veronesi, from Italy, the action focus is the consolidation of the valorisation strategy of the European PDO.

Targeted to both professionals and millennial consumers, the action's main message is the value of PDO: “Origin Matters”. The personal communications and one-to-one relations support the communication mix of the campaign when it comes to educate the target audience. To create broader awareness the focus is on public/media relations, events and digital marketing. The total budget of the action is 3.495.459€.
