The subject of the campaign is the promotion of European apples on the Brazilian and Colombian markets. The motto of the campaign is “Have an apple day! Get to know high quality apples from EU” (the campaign slogan can be changed or supplemented at the project implementation stage). The Proposing Organization is ASSOCIATION OF POLISH FRUIT AND VEGETABLES DISTRIBUTORS FRUIT UNION (FRUIT UNION) from Poland. Information and promotion activities will focus on the market of the Brazil and Colombia. The campaign will run from March 2025 to February 2028. The target group are representatives of fruit and retail chains interested in purchasing high quality agricultural products from Europe. Individual consumers constitute a support group as recipients of some activities undertaken as part of the campaign. The promotional message will focus on emphasizing the high-quality apples from Europe, sustainable production methods, safe consumption, as well as their taste, nutritional and health properties. EU norms regarding pesticide residues in food are highly restrictive and guarantee safe consumption of European foods. The campaign budget is estimated at over EUR 2,8 million. The main activities include creation of consistent visual identification, development and ongoing updates of information on the dedicated campaign website, activities in social media, participation in economic fairs in effort to promote Polish apples among wholesale partners and study tour to Poland for potential trading partners from Brazil and Colombia, as well as press, internet and outdoor advertising. The campaign will bring the economic and informational benefits: an increase in the value of sales of European apples on Brazilian and Colombian markets and an increase in awareness of the quality of European products.
