The EUOrganicschool partnership is consisted by two representative organizations: Association Bio-Romania and Polska Ecologia and concerns the organic production method and all eligble agri-food products for direct consumption. Both organizations have been involved, since their establishment, promoting the organic production method among producers, opening the market to organic products and increasing awareness and knowledge among stakeholders and consumers.

EUOrganicschool objective is to foster public awareness on organic production in Romania and Poland. It will result to the further increase by 5% of the recognition rate of the organic farming logo in each market and to double the annual per capita consumption in each market. Covid 19 outbreak impact has definitely affected organic market; consumers in both markets are more concerned but organic consumption is low thus making it vulnerable. Increasing public awareness will stimulate demand and increase consumption.

The key target group is the general public and specific women with dependants. Intensive social media publicity, online and social media advertising, continuous PR activities will be project’s public awareness stimulators. Children in first and second grade of education along with their teachers are the second target group. Dedicated publicity via social media accounts tailored workshops for nutrition and environmental education, along with activities in schools (organic meals) and study trips, are foreseen. Organic operators along with the professionals of the market and multipliers (journalists, chefs, experts and influencers) form the second strand of target groups.
