The coordinating proposing organisation of the ‘More Green Cities for Europe’ 2021-2023 promotional campaign is the European Nurserystock Association, ENA, representing nursery stock producers, mostly of ornamental plants, from 22 European countries. For this proposal, member organisations from 13 EU member states participate in and fund the 3 years campaign. ‘More Green Cities for Europe’ is the follow-up of the currently running EU promotional B2B campaign ‘Green Cities for a sustainable Europe’ 2018-2020, targeted in 7 European member states with the focus on creating awareness that the use of green, ornamental plants, in public urban outdoor spaces has a lot of good effects on aspects like air & climate, nature, sustainability and well-being. The B2B strategy and activities will be carried out in 13 EU-countries, which makes this program actually European wide and for European nursery stock products. The goal of the project is to enhance the sales of the EU ornamental plants, and the program fully connects to the targets of European Green Deal roadmap and the European Green Infrastructure Strategy of the EC.  The strategy is designed to inform, educate and activate the Business to Business target groups, which are all professionals involved in research, policy-planning and decision-making regarding measures that can be taken to increase green urban areas.  The objectives of this proposal are raising awareness, changing behaviour and attitude in activating European cities to become greener, and therefore more liveable, by using plants, leading to the growth in production & sales of European nursery stock products. This project has overall activities like a website, a promotional video, a yearly international congress and the yearly ‘European Green Cities Award’, additionally to basic activities, such as PR, social media, and congresses and seminars in every target market, where direct contact with professionals is essential.
