The AGRUPACIÓN DE COOPERATIVAS VALLE DEL JERTE is a fruit & vegetables producer organization, reconigzed by the Ministry of agriculture, fisheries and food of Spain, which represent 16 cooperatives located in the region Valle del Jerte (Spain).
Plum, Chestnuts, Figs and other small fruits such as blackberries are some of the products we produce but the most outstanding
product is the Cherry, which is mainly exported to European countries.

The association have designed a promotional campaign aimed to increase the competitiveness and consumption of UE Cherries in United Kingdom with the novelty that since last year, this market is considered as third country. Considering statistical data from official sources, currently the UK is the most important market for EU and spanish cherries. That is why this market has been a priority for VALLE DEL JERTE in the last years. In fact, the association is implementin this year (12 months) an EU agri promotion campaign to restore the normal market conditions for cherries which were higly affected. The idea is to give a continuity and sustainability to the plan in the next years.

A mix of promotional and informational activities has been designed through a strategy adapted to the target country and target
groups: distribution & import channel, KOL and consumers. The activities chosen for the program have been: - Public
Relations Services - Web and social media - Online advertising - Events such as seminars orTradeFairs and POS.

This plan has been structured through a total budget of  683,609.80 and it has been divided by 3 years as follow: 282,333.80 year 1; 195,708 year 2; 203,708 year 3.
