DIRECT DELIVERY FROM EUROPE

The proposal aims at promoting PDO and PGI deli meat on the Japanese market, through a comprehensive set of activities targeted to end consumers, in order to exploit the current market trends towards European quality product consumption, further boosted by the entry into force of the bilateral treaty between EU and Japan.
This treaty grants recognizement and protection for several European PGIs, among which there are two of the proposal products.
The message that will accompaign the EU main message is focused on the fact that these products are ready and easy to use, since the Japanese consumer has little time to prepare his meals, due to the hectic life rythm and the long commuting time.
The action plan will work on long term partnerships with restaurants and retailers, in order to grant continuity to the promotion activities and to create a huge impact on the selected areas, which are the main metropolitan areas.
