CuTE - Cultivating a Healthy Europe with Fruit and Vegetables from Europe

"CuTE-HEALTHY - Cultivating a Healthy Europe with Fruit and Vegetables from Europe"", is a fresh and innovative EU promotion multi-programme aiming at increasing the consumption of fresh fruit and vegetables in the internal market (BE, DE, ES & FR) in the context of balanced and proper dietary practices. The programme has been created and designed in the framework of the CuTE’s strategy (FruitVegetablesEUROPE 2018). The Consortium is composed by leading Associations in the F&V sectors: FruitvegetablesEUROPE, Spanish Citrus Management Committee - CGC, Spanish Fruit & Vegetables Federation-FEPEX; UNICA APO & + Broccoli Association.

CuTE-HEALTHY puts a lot of focus on dietary and nutritional practices and health benefits, and is a programme that goes far beyond a simple challenge. CuTE-HEALTHY will help to guarantee that citizens receive transparent, truthful and objective information on F&V. CuTE-HEALTHY will encourage Europeans to join to a healthy lifestyle based on foods that are beneficial to all consumers, harvested with the maximum guarantees, alongside regular physical exercise and a varied and balanced diet.

The CuTE-HEALTHY programme has a global European strategy, using a wide variety of online actions and activating a large sort of events. The programme will be digital at first, so that it ensures maximum cost-effectiveness approach and responds to the reality of the majority of the target audience, very much attracted by digital content. Nevertheless, a number of events will also take place outside the digital sphere such as special actions in Gyms & in prominent places, Out of home actions (Buses & Trams Berlin, Brussels & Paris), and participation in the main EU trade fair for the F&V sector (Fruit Attraction). There is also a dynamic and attractive programme to be implemented in a great number of Points of Sales (central markets in ES and fruit shops in BE, FR, DE & ES). CuTE-HEALTHY will bring benefits of fruit and vegetables closer to consumers.
