The project ‘EUOrganicJuicePlanet’ aims to increase awareness and recognition of Union quality scheme on organic production and to raise their profile highlighting the specific features of the production method particularly in terms of food safety, authenticity, nutritional value. The project also seeks to increase the market share of European Organic juices (apple, grape, forest berries and pomegranate juices) in the markets of Germany, France and Sweden that have a high growth potential.
It joins together organizations Bio-Romania from Romania and ASOP Drama from Greece. Both organizations have established a wide cultivation network with high quality standards and significant importance to local economies.
When designing activities, the main characteristics of the target markets (consumer behaviour, demand, distribution network) and the corresponding target groups have been taken into account to maximise the results.
The high nutritional value of organic fruit juices is ensured by the applicable standards and the requirements relating to the production of organic systems.
