Information Provision and promotion measures on canned peaches in Canada, Colombia and Mexico
Objective: The proposed Action entitled Information provision and promotion measures on canned peaches in Canada, in Colombia and in Mexico is submitted by AL.M.ME that is recognized by Greece as an Association of producer organizations. AL.M.ME is the result of the cooperation of three big recognized Producer Organization (Messi Coop, A.C. Neos Aliakmon and A.C. Meliki). Currently the proposing organization has only exports in Mexico (about 552.688,00 € in 2017). In this end, the proposing organization, within the framework of this Action, aims to increase the value of exports of the European canned peaches to 1.500.000 € in Canada, to 1.500.000 € in Colombia and to 2.000.000 € in Mexico until the end of the Action and to provide new knowledge on the merits of Union agricultural products 200.000 people in Canada, 200.000 in Colombia and 200.000 in Canada every year. The main massages if the Action will be the quality and safety of the European agricultural products and in particular the canned peaches.
Target group: Canada, Colombia and Mexico
Action strategy: The activities include the production of informative printed and electronic material, advertorial placements in popular national magazines, the participation in international exhibitions, press events and tasting days with distribution of free samples to consumers. The action is of three years’ duration, estimated to start on April 2019 and will end on March 2022.
Budget: € 3,095,000.00 for 3 years
