The action responds to topic 3 Support for simple programmes - Sustainability of Union agriculture
for simple programmes in the internal market: information provision and promotion programs aiming at highlighting the specific features of sustainable agricultural methods in the Union and how these production methods help protect the environment.
OBJECTIVES:
The general objective of the project is to highlight the technical characteristics that define sustainability in agriculture and increase consumer awareness of the benefits that sustainable agriculture guarantees to the climate and the environment. The issue of sustainability in agriculture will be addressed by taking as a case study a specific product of the fruit supply chain - the pear - which will be used as an example to describe a sustainable production chain up to the consumer.
TARGET GROUPS:
A. MAIN - "Purchase Decision Making" Consumers
B. FUNCTIONAL - Trade operators (mass retail channel, Normal Trade) and media (dedicated food & beverage press, bloggers, opinion leaders)
Both groups will be contacted: directly, through instore promotions in point of sales and events, including the distribution of information and promotional materials; indirectly, through website, social media, pr, adv. activities to be carried: printed and electronic channels (website, social media, online and printed advertising), public relations (press office, press events), instore promotion (instore demonstrations and tastings, instore adv), events (fairs, B2B meetings, incoming), communication tools (promotional videos, educational materials, gadgets).
