The project aims to disseminate social and environmental sustainability of European almond in order to increase its use at the industrial level and the consumption of it. It is seeks to increase demand and facilitate European almond i expansion in Spain, Germany, France and Portugal.
The nutritional benefits of almonds are leading to the growing consumption in Europe and elsewhere in the world. These consumption trends of increasing demand for plant protein can be met with Iberian production, consolidating Spain and Portugal as strategic enclaves for the supply of Iberian almonds especially to European markets. It will seek its market share against almonds that comes from third countries.
