EUROPEAN QUALITY WINES: TASTE THE DIFFERENCE

European quality wines: taste the difference (TTD.EU) is submitted by two representative wine trade organisations from Italy (UIV - Unione Italiana Vini Servizi Soc. Coop.) and Spain (OIVE - Organizacion Interprofesional del Vino de Espana) and it is addressed to the United States and China. Its objectives have both an economic and informative return: on one side the project aims at increasing trade operators, influencers and consumers awareness about European Quality Schemes (and the related logos) and about Italian and Spanish quality wines by highlighting the specific features of quality schemes as PDO and PGI; on the other side it aims also at increasing Italian and Spanish quality wines market share in the selected target countries. The project is mainly addressed to professionals and influencers, considered as strategic target groups for the spreading of European wine knowledge and culture; it wants to be a promotional and informational programme aiming to showcase the European Quality wine through a balanced mix of actions such as:  the participation in the trade fairs, press events, study trips to Europe and other useful activities, supported also by a clear and simple message based on concepts and values such as Land of origin, Tradition, Quality, Wine and Europe. Italian and Spanish quality wines retain an important place in the activities forseen.
