Societal pressure in terms of respect of environnement, sustainability, climate impact etc is growing in Europe. European consumers want sustainable products aligned with their societal expectations, and the global challenge is to demonstrate that European dairy products are sustainable and healthy.
There is a lot of mis-information on the issue in the media that confuses consumers mind, while the EU dairy sector is pro-active in mitigating its climate impact, improving its sustainability and has a lot of transparent science-based information and facts to provide. The challenge is to make this efforts and progress visible.
This programme aims at educating stakeholders of the role of European dairy in a healthy diet from a sustainable food system. EU dairy sector is pro-active in mitigating its climate impact, improving its sustainability and has a lot of transparent science-based information and facts to provide.
The challenges are : 1) to make these efforts and progress visible, 2) to take part in the discussion and situate the climate impact of dairy products in a more holistic approach of the food system at the European level and 3) to communicate with simple common messages on this diversity and multifunctionality of the Union dairy sector.
Target : KOL.
Objectives (1) to increase confidence, (2)to increase awareness and (3) to Improve the knowledge in KOL minds.
Budget: 1,3 M€/year for 3 years
