This programme proposal concerns a simple programme for information and promotion measures for European meat (“Pioneering European meat producers – exploring the burgeoning continent”) in East and West Africa incl. Congo DR, more specifically: Kenya and Tanzania (East) and Ghana, Congo DR and Cameroon (West).Promotion of frozen chicken parts and offal to: Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana and Congo DR (East and West Africa incl. Congo DR)Promotion of elaborated meat products to Kenya, Tanzania, Ghana, Congo DR and Cameroon (East and West Africa incl. Congo DR)At the moment the markets in East Africa are still an unexplored territory, but they have great potential and offer new opportunities for European exporters. Although European exporters are gradually more present on West African markets, further commercial prospection and market-share expansion is still possible.In addition to information and promotion, this programme is aimed at a very emphatic prospection of these unknown, but vastly developing markets.http://www.vlam.be
