Programme DOLIKEEU2 is jointly proposed by Lithuanian organisation Baltic Gastronomy Leaders (BGL) and The Bulgarian Winemaking & Export Association (BWEA) which are going to implement a continuing 3-year information programme for a basket of the EU produced food and beverage products in Japan and South Korea markets.
The promotion programme DOLIKEEU2 will continue carrying out the DOLIKEEU (ID 874806) targeting the Japan and South Korea markets, which implementation period ends in April 2023. The China market is not perspective and was excluded because of political conflict between Lithuania and China. After an almost three year period of the implementation of the Programme DOLIKEEU, the significant export growth was recorded: export from LT & BG to the Japan and South Korea markets increased from 10,1 mio. EUR (2018) to 19,2 mio. Eur (2022). Given the noticeable Programme’s impact, constant growth of GDP, a decision was made to continue the implementation of the Programme targeting the Japan and South Korea markets.
The Programme targets both final consumers and food trade professionals (expected contacts – 7,9 mio.). The activities include trade visits, participation in trade expos, business events, on-line promotion and promotion at points of sale (tastings, shelf-talkers). Programme strives to boost demand for the EU agri-food production by promoting the EU agri-food products in terms of:
• EU organic production;
• EU products with PGI/PGO;
• General EU quality, safety and sustainability rules.
In 3 year period the Programme aims to:
• Increase of export value of Programme’s product basket (adjusted to reach best results) to Japan (from 5,76 million EUR to 9,41 million EUR);
• Increase of export value of Programme’s product basket (adjusted to reach best results) to South Korea (from 10,04 mio. EUR to 13,96 mio. EUR);
Budget of the proposal – 2 456 544 EUR, expected ROI 1,95.
