Opening ceremony to introduce the campaign and promote the safety, quality, and authenticity of European Union food and beverage products.
Since 2019, the European Union food promotion campaign has been organised all over China and activities have been held several times throughout the country. Together with Hema Freshippo, the EU has to this date launched two promotional activities both online and offline, particularly well-received among Chinese consumers. The promotion included over 300 products in many different categories, such as dairy, meat, fruit, spirits, olive oil, wine and beer. The event was opened by the EU delegation to China Agricultural Counsellor, Mr Damien Plan, and Hema Director of Public Affairs, Mr Jerry Ji.
