The European Union Food Fair 2025 was presented at National Azabu, Azabu (Main store), in Tokyo, offering a unique opportunity to explore high-quality European food and drink.
Founded in 1962, National Azabu was a trusted international supermarket offering rare and high-quality foods from around the world, including more than 150 European products. It continued to bring global flavours and cultural experiences to everyday shopping in Tokyo.
The EU FOOD FAIR highlighted European groceries, kicking off a three-part series in July, August, and September, presented in collaboration with the European Union.
Throughout the summer, visitors had the opportunity to sample an array of premium products from different EU Member States, including those with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO), Protected Geographical Indication (PGI), and Organic certifications. With different items featured monthly, such as meats, olive oil, and alcoholic beverages, the EU tastings at National Azabu were not to be missed.
