Meet Tane-chan: our cute seedling scout that guides you to flavourful adventures!
Sprouted from the rich soil of Europe, Tane-chan was captivated by the world around. From the fruits and vegetables to the vast fields and farms, curiosity led Tane to explore. Tane-chan wanted to understand how EU foods were produced and what made them so special. The journey began when Tane joined the scout program, eager to discover the wonders of European food. As Tane-chan wandered through the fields, farms and factories, he began to learn about the food and its unique qualities. Tane was also intrigued to explore GI and organic labels in the supermarket, gaining a deeper appreciation for the care and quality behind European food.
After completing the scout program, Tane-chan received a sash adorned with the stars of the EU flag from his scout teacher, symbolizing growth and readiness for the next step. Tane will earn more stars as he continues learning. Now, Tane-chan is ready for the big adventure to Japan, where he plans to explore the perfect match between European and Japanese food. Having learned the basics in Europe, Tane is excited to embark on a series of thrilling adventures, meeting new friends, and introducing them to the tasty, high quality, and sustainable world of European products, all while continuing to learn new things.

Tane-chan believes in the Perfect Match between European and Japanese foods. Whether it’s the rich, creamy textures of European cheese with Japan’s seasonal ingredients or vibrant vegetables from Europe paired with Japan’s delicate flavors, Tane-chan is here to explore how these two culinary worlds pair together in harmony.
Having learned about the authenticity, sustainability and quality behind European products, such as those with PDO (Protected Designation of Origin), PGI (Protected Geographical Indication), and the Organic label, Tane-chan wants to celebrate the high standards that make every bite so special, ensuring not only delicious flavors but also the highest quality and standard.

Did you know that Tane-chan loves to dance when it rains? It’s true! And as for snacks? Tane-chan’s favourite treat is pairing EU creamy Brie cheese with Japanese seasonal fruits. So delicious! Tane-chan also has big dreams! It’s a food tour around Europe by railroad. Who wouldn’t want to travel and taste all the delicious European flavors, right?
