Future Korean Chefs Discover the Excellence of EU Quality Products Through Culinary Training Sessions

As part of the Colours by Europe. Tastes of Excellence. campaign, two successful Culinary School Training Sessions were held in June 2026 at Sejong University and Kyunghee University in South Korea. The exclusive sessions were led by renowned chef Park Joon-woo, attracting more than 50 culinary students, offering them a unique opportunity to explore the quality, authenticity, safety, and sustainability of European agri-food products.

Designed as a professional B2B training initiative, each session combined educational presentations, live cooking demonstrations, and hands-on culinary experiences. Participants learned about the European Union’s quality schemes, including Protected Designation of Origin (PDO), Protected Geographical Indication (PGI), and Organic certification systems, gaining valuable insight into how these labels guarantee product origin, traditional know-how, high production standards, traceability, and sustainable production practices.
