  • Acacia organic honey - Romania: 50 g
  • Myoga (Japanese ginger): 3
  • Rice vinegar: 50 g
  • Salt: 3 g (plus additional to season myoga)

Step 1

Cut the myoga into quarters lengthwise and remove the stems.

Step 2

Sprinkle some salt evenly over the cut surface of the myoga and let it sit for 10 minutes.

Step 3

In a bowl, combine honey, rice vinegar, and salt, mixing until the salt is fully dissolved.

Step 4

Place the myoga and sauce into a Ziploc bag (or a similar container) and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to marinate.

Tips

Wash the agar weed well, heat it in a pot, and remove the scum well.
