
Spring rolls with halloumi cheese and burdock salad
Halloumi cheese can be grilled on a grill pan to get a nice browning effect and a nice appearance.
Ingredients: 2 servings
- Halloumi cheese from Cyprus 60g
- Potherb mustard 40g
- Salad chicken 80g
- Radish 2
- Chicken salad 70g
- Wasabi (Japanese horseradish) 3g
- Rice paper 2
Product Notes
Cypriot Halloumi PDO cheese has a unique rubbery texture that gives it an excellent contrast to the soft and supple rice paper and vegetables. Naturally salty in flavour, it has a flexibility that makes it a star in a variety of dishes inclluding soups, burgers or dumplings.
Instructions
Slice the halloumi cheese into 4 slices. Brown on both sides in a grill pan.
Cut the potherb mustard in half lengths. Hand-cut the salad chicken. Cut the radish into round slices.
Dress the burdock salad with wasabi.
Cover the bat with water, soak the rice paper and remove. Place on a chopping board and place potherb mustard, salad chicken, ③ and radish. Roll up one roll from the front, place the haloumi cheese on top, fold both sides, finish rolling and wrap in plastic wrap.
Cut one piece into quarters and place in a serving bowl.
